Bendida

Bendida is a symphonic fantasy group from Sofia, Bulgaria
Created in 2008 by guitarist Vini Atanasov. The group interprets the mythology from the territory of ancient Thrace – Slavic, Thracian and others. Musically, the band draws inspiration mainly from classical music, metal music and last but not least – Bulgarian traditional folklore. In addition to the traditional rock music instruments, the band also includes viola da gamba, whose sound has been part of Bendida’s appearance for several years. Some of the songs include a baroque flute and the traditional Bulgarian tambourine instrument, which adds the characteristic folk colors to Bendida’s music.
Bendida shared the stage with the biggest names in the symphonic metal genre such as Nightwish, Kamelot, Apocaliptica and others.
