Artificial Comet is an independent hardcore-punk group established in Ruse in 2012 by Kaloyan Georgiev and Radni Stanchev. Initially, the two were united by their common love for Pixis’ music, playing their covers at their first concert. A year later, the band has material for a short album, and their style is a combination of indie, punk and hardcore. Strongly influenced by the DIY ethics of the punk scene, Artifish Comet created their own studio and label Demo Tape Recordings, through which they recorded and released their first album As Loud As Hell. For the next two years they played in almost all major cities in Bulgaria, promoting their album. In 2017 Demo Tape Recordings releases the second album of the group entitled Punk For The Masses for the recordings of which Nikolay Danev, who has played in a number of Ruse groups, joins drums. A series of concerts around the country and a tour in Romania, Hungary and Austria follow again. At the moment AC are: Kaloyan Georgiev (vocals, bass), Radni Stanchev (vocals, guitar), Hari Boyadzhiev (guitar) and Lazar Benov (drums).
